Different views

Submissions can be viewed in 4 different views

· Thumbnails – shows submissions (from 5o to 500 per page). By default, sorted by last submitted. Other sorting are also available; first submitted, most likes, most comments and most pictures in submission.

· List view – shows submission as a list. Useful for a quick overview.

· Map view – shows submissions in a map.

· Dashboard – shows submissions and projects in different charts

Edit an existing submission

The owner or a manager can edit an existiong submission by clicking ‘Edit submission’ in the submission view. Then it is possible to adjust description, chain, shop, categories and projects for the submission.

Rotate a picture

Znapio will always try to use all available meta-data of a picture to display in correct rotation. Sometimes this is not correct, e.g., the picture is shot from straight above. Then manager can rotate the picture in the submission view.

Add a new photo in a submission

Managers can upload a new picture in an existing submission by clicking ‘Edit submission info’ and then ‘+ Pictures’.

Remove submissions

In the thumbnail view select one or more submissions. Then click the trash bin to the right.

Delete a photo in a multiphoto submission

If you just want to delete a single photo in a multiphoto submission, click the trash bin below the photo you want to remove.

Add a photo to an existing submission

In the photo submission view click ‘Edit submission photo’ and then ‘+Pictures’. This will add a new photo in the existing submission

Add a comment

From the web dashboard there are two places to add a comment to the submission. Either directly in the ‘Feed’ under the thumbnails or in the submission view under the photo. The owner of the submission will get a notification on both email and push notification in the app. Note that all comment is available for all users that have the user rights to see the related submission.

Give a like

From the web dashboard you can add a like directly in the ‘Fedd’ by clicking the Like-button or by clicking like in the submission view. The owner of the submission will get a push notification in the app, but likes don’t generate email notifications.

Email notification

If you have some high-importance categories that require extra attention you can add one or several email addresses (also external) that will get an immediate email notification each time, there is a new submission in the subcategory. This feature needs to be activated per main category by Znapio team – just contact us and we will be of assistance.

Order and priority of categories

If you have many main categories, you can set the order of the categories to be shown in the apps by changing the ‘Order’. Lowest number will be shown above higher numbers. The number itself is only visible for manager user in the web dashboard.

Using tags

Categories and projects support tags. Most users don’t need to use this, but it may be used to categorize submissions sent in directly by emails.

Single- vs multi-select categories

A main category can be set as single or multi-select. If a category is single it is only possible to select one subcategory and on multi it can be several. This is useful to avoid wrong data.

Setting a category to mandatory

One or several categories can be set to mandatory forcing the users to provide feedback on each submission. Sometimes it makes sense to ad a N/A subcategory if category is set to mandatory.

Mandatory photos

If you want all submissions to minimum have one photo, we can set photo as mandatory. Contact Znapio team and we will activate it.

Mandatory projects

If you want all submissions to be assigned to a project, we can set projects as mandatory. Contact Znapio team and we will activate it.

Using colors for categories

Categories can be assigned with different colors. This is useful for showing different categories in the map-view.

Restricted categories

Restricted categories are visible for all the users, but submissions added to these are only visible by managers and owners (users that uploaded them).

Protected categories

Protected categories are only visible for managers, so regular users cannot add submissions to them.
